Requirements for QuickTime video
Please use the following specifications for video submitted to the Boards Editorial.
Video:
- Format: MPEG4-Video, Sorenson Video 3 are the recommended compression formats
- Frame Rate: 30fps
- Keyframes: automatic
- Bitrate: 400kbits/sec for another over 60 sec, no higher than 800kbits/sec for shorter submissions
- Quality: Best
- Size: Maximum width 360px
Audio:
- Format: AAC
- Channels: Mono, unless the audio is of particular importance
- Rate: 44.1Khz
Prepare for Internet Streaming:
- Fast Start, or Fast Start - Compressed Header
As a guideline, this should produce videos that are less than 5MB per 30 seconds. Please do not upload files which exceed that guideline.
