Saatchi & Saatchi, London's flashmob spot "Dance" scored top honors at the British Television Advertising Awards (BTAA), taking home the Best Television Commercial of the Year Award at a ceremony in London on Wednesday night.

The spot, directed by Michael Gracey and produced by Partizan, London, features a choreographed dance performance in London's Liverpool Street station. It became a viral sensation last year and won a Gold Lion at the 2009 Cannes International Advertising Festival.

BBH, London was the top agency winner, snagging seven Goldss and its fifth agency of the year award thanks to recent work for clients Barnardo's, Johnnie Walker, and Robinsons.

Other Gold winners included VCCP and Passion Pictures director Darren Walsh's CompareTheMarket.com spots starring animated meerkat mascot Alexandr Orlov, Tribal DDB and Stink director Adam Berg's interactive "Carousel" film for Philips, AMV BBDO's Department for Transport spot "Live With It" directed by Rattling Stick's Andy McLeod and BBH and Barnardo's anti-sexual abuse spot "Turn Around", directed by Gorgeous Enterprises' Chris Palmer.

Rattling Stick won the production company of the year award for the third consecutive year on the back of work for Department of Transport, Weetabix, Robinsons, and Monster.com in the USA.
