Caviar Content's Keith Schofield hosted Q Department's first Directors Series mixer of 2010, held on Feb. 12 at the music house's Soho studios. The invite-only event started a year ago to give directors a chance to curate an evening of music however they see fit. It generally attracts an eclectic mix of creatives, producers, editors, writers, musicians and lately, financiers.

The evening was a homecoming of sorts for the Los Angeles-based director, who hasn't visited New York since graduating from New York University's film program in 2001. Schofield arrived as the city was recovering from a major snowfall and rolled into the party with an entourage of film school friends that included the Waverly Films collective. His music selections leaned heavily toward the artists he and his friends have directed music videos for.

"It was very reflective of his posse and where he's coming from with his videos," said Q Department founder Drazen Bosnjak. "It had people dancing."
