•CANNES WRAP UP>
The stand off between Cadbury "Gorilla" and Halo 3's "Believe" campaign has ended in a tie, with both taking home Grand Prix awards in the film category at the 2008 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. This is the first time in the event's 55-year history that the Film jury has handed out two grand prizes. Read more from Boards' full wrap up of Cannes Film Lions winners here.

•LEGENDARY FX ARTIST STAN WINSTON DIES AT 62>
Oscar-winning special-effects artist Stan Winston passed away on June 15 at his home in Malibu, California. The cause was multiple myeloma. Winston, who left his mark on Hollywood in landmark films such as Aliens and Terminator 2, also contributed heavily to the spot world via Stan Winston Studio. Last year, the company that bears his name worked on 150 spots, including this year's Cannes Grand Prix co-winners Cadbury "Gorilla" and "Diorama" from the winning Halo 3 Believe Campaign. Winston is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Matt and Debbie; and four grandchildren.

•STRAWBERRY FROG NOW AMSTERDAM WORLDWIDE>
StrawberryFrog B.V. Amsterdam has re-branded as Amsterdam Worldwide. The name change reflects the nine-year-old agency's positioning as a company that produces "Ideas without Borders" while reinforcing the "values of creativity, freedom of thinking and commercial acumen associated with the city." "The time has come for a change," says Uli Wiesandanger, chairman of the advisory board of directors. "There are no borders in strategy, creativity and media anymore. Amsterdam Worldwide is a grown up international agency that speaks through its work."

•MK12 HELM BOND TITLES>
The Ebeling Group-repped collective MK12 are at work on the main title sequence for the upcoming James Bond film Quantum of Solace, scheduled to be released in November. This will be the third time that MK12, who'll also provide all GUI (graphic user interface) elements to the film, have worked with director Marc Forster. The first was the titles for Stranger Than Fiction followed by last year's The Kite Runner.

Deutsch, Los Angeles associate creative director Mark Moll has launched SoHowWasThe.com, a site dedicated to giving agency creatives both the inside scoop and the platform to discuss what it's like to work with a particular director or editor. "By getting this information before handing over their projects, creatives can make a more informed decision about who they're going to be working with before they show up on the set or in the editing bay," says the release.
