•WIREDRIVE + BOARDS CANNES KICKOFF PARTY PHOTOS>Unbridled revellery was the order of the night at the second annual Wiredrive + Boards Cannes Kickoff Party. The invitees included a global cast of the industry's top players such as MJZ's David Zander, Goodby Silverstein & Partners' Mike Geiger, Benjamin Palmer of the Barbarian Group, director Nicolas Kasakoff and Vegalomosponce's Jose Silva, Ogilvy, Toronto's Tim Piper and Hunter Somerville, and at least one party-goer who gamely took the plunge into the outdoor pool on the terrace of the gorgeous villa of our gracious hosts, Stillking. When guests weren't chowing down on the spread they were chilling to the soundtrack provided by Static Revenger. And, as you'll see in the pics, most of the guests were sporting sexy shuttered shades promoting the upcoming Boards Summit (Oct. 23 & 24). Our thanks to Wiredrive and Stillking for their efforts in helping us make this second Wiredrive + Boards Cannes Kickoff party one to remember.

•MALCOLM VENVILLE STARTS WORK ON FIRST FEATURE FILM> Anonymous Content announced that director Malcolm Venville started shooting his debut feature 44 Inch Chest in East London last week. Based on a script by Sexy Beast writers Louis Mellis and David Scinto, the film stars Ray Winstone as a jilted husband who discovers his wife is cheating and exacts revenge on her lover. The film is produced by Anonymous Content's Steve Golin and independent producer Richard Brown.
