Motion Theory does the robot for EA
Stars turned to circuitry in Mech Warrior nod
BALL IS FULL OF LOVE > Things really couldn't be going any better for Motion Theory at the moment. Still riding high on the acclaim for their Beck video ("Girl") and a sequence of great spots for Reebok and HP, the California company has just been named to Rolling Stone's Hot List for 2005. Their latest work is a playful slice of high-end CG for EA Sports that should do absolutely nothing to quell that hot streak. Create to promote NBA Live '06, "Mech Warriors" features cameos from NBA stars Tracy McGrady and Dwayne Wade, both of whom open up like robotic husks to accommodate the everyman gameplayer inside. Dazzling as usual -- wouldn't a :60 be nice? [Prodco: Motion Theory] [Agency: Wieden+Kennedy]
