Bicoastal prodco Coppos Films announced the signing of former promo director and new commercial talent, Maria Demopoulos. Demopoulos has been praised not only for her strong visual sense, but also for her production, casting and writing talent.

New York's Tonic, a multi-video company, recently hired audio engineer Mario Francoforte and audio mixer Anthony Erice.

The New York-based audio-post facility Photomag announced the recent re-acquisition of Jared Seidman. The audio engineer began his career at Long Island's prog rock station, WLIR, joined Photomag in 1996, moved to The ANX, then Kamen Entertainment. Today, he has returned, having earned his own suite at Photomag.

Detroit's Yessian Music recently signed recording engineer/mixer Gerard Smerek for commercial work. Smerek, also known as 'G', has worked with such notable recording artists as Bob Seger, Anita Baker, Oleta Adams, Tyrese and Deborah Cox, Kid Rock and Donna Summer.

Hollywood's Troika Design Group, named Reid Thompson as senior designer. Thompson is an award-winning broadcast designer who previously worked for Pittard Sullivan, and has worked on projects for ABC, CBS, NBC, FX, Discovery Health, Antena 3 in Spain, and Junior and Kabel 1 in Germany.
