Tool applies Ross

Creative filmmaker Jonnie Ross has joined bicoastal production company Tool of North America.

"The last six months has hit me like a bullet and happened in a flash but it's been an amazing time," says Ross on developments since unveiling his avant-garde spec reel last summer, studying under the guidance of Larry Bridges at Red Car before Tool implemented its offer.

"I feel ridiculously privileged and extremely lucky to be working with this unit and will put my heart and soul into the work that I produce," explains Ross, who contemplated a number of offers before deciding on Tool.

"He's just one of those beautiful human beings," says Brian Carmody of Smuggler, who noticed Ross while bundled within Satellite in days gone past. "Jonnie has a great future ahead of him and it's a cool move to be at Tool right now. I'm a huge fan of his."

Ross will now settle into his new environment and commence work on a wide range of projects as yet to be determined.

"I'm looking forward to all the creative projects that will come my way," adds Ross on the road ahead. "Work that will allow me the opportunity to experience good, solid ideas and enable me to expand my vision as an artist."
