Will Van Der Vlugt Films (WVDVF) and a Casegiraldi have formed an alliance with outposts in Amsterdam, London, Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
WVDVF, with offices in Holland, the UK and Florida, represents, you guessed it, director/DP Will Van Der Vlugt. Casegiraldi has operations in New York and Los Angeles and represents directors Bob Giraldi, Joakim Eliasson, Abel Ferrara and Randee St. Nicholas.
Casegiraldi exec producer/partner Carol Case says the deal opens up production and sales opportunities for both companies.
"We've known each other for a long time. This is not just about sales, it's about anchoring Van Der Vlugt in this company and being associated with something strong here," says Case of the deal.
"Besides that, it's just to have the relationship with Will. He is a fine director, a filmmaker who understands the business. Plus, he has lived and worked in the US and understands the market. Having his company name involved is important."
Will Van Der Vlugt most recently wrapped a three-day Miami shoot for Truth through Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
