Hollywood-based animation studio Film Roman has expanded the creative reach of its commercial division with the acquisition of visual effects house VanHook Studios.
This move ensures that Film Roman Commercials (FMC) will be a one-stop animation shop, employing a range of 2D, 3D and visual effects artists.
FMC and VanHook are currently working on a campaign for Showtime Networks titled "Night Out at SHO TOO."
Both Film Roman and VanHook hold a rich television animation history with Film Roman boasting credits such as The Simpsons and King of the Hill, while VanHook has posted Ally McBeal, Xena: Warrior Princess, and Miss Congeniality to name a few. Additionally, FMC has produced commercials for clients such as Nestle's, McDonald's, PDFA and AMEX, among others.
