Nimrichter Joins Spontaneous
Spontaneous Combustion, New York’s digital visual effects studio, has signed Lawrence Nimrichter as 3D animator.
Nimrichter arrives after a stint of five years at Texas-based Atomic Pictures, working on projects for clients that include Coca Cola, Ford Motor Co., Corona, Sony, Televisa, Kraft, Procter & Gamble, JCPenney and agencies that include McCann-Erickson (Mexico City), JWT (Mexico City), Bromley Communications (San Antonio, TX) and Alazraki y Asociados.

Swietlik Welcomes Desimone
Santa Monica-based editing house Swietlik has signed Crissy Desimone as producer.
Desimone will initially work with producer Chris Girard and exec producer Rebecca Jasmine to produce national campaigns for Mitsubishi and Kinko's through Deutsch LA and TBWA/Chiat/Day respectively.
Desimone was previously producer at Santa Monica-based Straight Cut where she worked on spots for Toyota, Southwestern Bell, United States Air Force and EarthLink.
Belief Hires Davis
Santa Monica-based live-action and broadcast design studio Belief has hired Erin Davis as director of business development.
Davis comes to Belief after serving as exec producer for 3 Ring Circus in Los Angeles where she helmed launch packages, promos and show opens for various clients including The Outdoor Life Network, LAPTV and HBO Latino.
Davis will now focus on expanding her experience in broadcast design and motion graphics production to gather new business for Belief in the domestic and Latin American markets.
Dickson Gets Comfortable
The Comfort Zones, London, has appointed Gary Dickson as its head of marketing for Europe.
Dickson was most recently a senior consultant/head of marketing (Europe) with JSA, prior to which he was a founder of advertising magalogue Shots. His key role with The Zones will be to match creative with appropriate directing talent.

PostWorks Hires Foglia
PostWorks, New York has named sound mixer/engineer Matt Foglia as its chief audio engineer.
Foglia comes to PostWorks from Sony Music Studios' audio post deparment, where he worked on projects ranging from film to TV to commercials.

Grigorov Feels the Crush
Crushing Music, New York has hired acclaimed Bulgarian composer and pianist Mario Grigorov for commercial projects.
Grigorov immigrated to the US in 1992 and has released two albums since his arrival, including "Rhymes With Orange" and "Aria". He has also worked on the scores for two feature films: "Edge City," directed by Eugene Martin, and "The Life Jacket Is Under Your Seat," directed by Uruguayan film and commercials director Leonardo Ricagni.
