Xealot Arrives with Design on 3G Wireless Multimedia

Simon Foster, formerly executive producer for Voodoo Pictures in Hollywood, has set up Xealot, a new production company situated in Venice, CA.

Xealot is in the midst of pioneering a new product for the production industry, namely interactive commercial broadcast networks; envision a merged and enhanced Web site, television, and auto attendant answering system that delivers video to phones and wireless receivers.

"What we are building is an intelligent interactive video system serving as an identity centric video interface that improves the way a corporation is navigated and experienced," explains Simon Foster, CEO of Xealot. "As we approach the world of 3G wireless communication, our networks will be accessible from any number of communications devices. We will cater to the projected billions of people who will soon be using wideband 3G communicators." 3G stands for the third generation of wireless communication technology, refering to upcoming improvements in wireless data and voice communications.

Xealot is in its early stages, but is attracting some heavy hitters in the advertising industry. "Xealot has been speaking to various companies looking to explore the potential of 3G wireless multimedia which has resulted in the development of a prototype product," continues Foster. "The companies involved have requested anonymity at this current stage of product R&D."

Although the network is initially intended for wireless multimedia receivers, the realm of commercial production should see some action; Xealot plans to make a high volume of commercials for companies, producing many spots for specific products with the aim to slant each individually shaped spot to a different, specific demographic. Furthermore, the systems will also be intelligent enough to determine who is actually contacting the company, then tailor make a network product experience for that person, and create a personal Internet experience on the phone.

More information will be available over the ensuing months as Xealot prepares to release its first prototype.
