California's Cucoloris Films Merges with Germany's Department M/DoRo

Venice, CA-based Cucoloris Films and Department M/DoRo, Berlin, a major force in Germany and Europe, have formed Department M/Cucoloris, a partnership designed to expand each company's production base.

The alliance will enable Cucoloris to enter music video production markets both foreign and domestic while providing Department M directors with representation in the United States.

DoRo is the largest music video company in continental Europe with a roster of 15 directors. The company has created videos for 'N Sync, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.

Head of production, Nicola Wiseman will transfer from Doro's headquarters in Berlin to the Cucoloris head office in California this month. Wiseman will be joined by director Markus Engel, a graduate of Cal Arts in Los Angeles who has worked on Doro projects in the United States.

Linda Steward and Bernard Wesson will continue to serve as executive producers alongside principal and director Danny Ducovny.

Cucoloris clients include Sprint, Coca-Cola, Kodak, American Airlines, Visa and Volkswagen.
