Elias Arts, Santa Monica promoted Kenny Segal to composer/chief studio engineer and Christopher "Kimo" Kemp to the position of associate creative director.
Final Cut, Los Angeles added editors Matt Murphy and Dean Gonzalez to its roster.
São Paulo-based creative collective Lobo opened an office in New York. Creative director Daniel Piwowarczyk will oversee the new studio and founding partner Mateus de Paula Santos will work in both offices.

Craig Davis, worldwide CCO for JWT, announced he will be leaving the agency in 2009 to return with his family to Australia. Meanwhile at JWT, New York, Harvey Marco, formerly ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi, Los Angeles, was named chief creative officer; Paul Bichler, previously of BBH, New York, was hired as ECD and Justin Crawford promoted to ECD.
The Ogilvy Group named Miles Young, chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Asia Pacific, as global CEO, to succeed outgoing CEO Shelly Lazarus. Lazarus will remain in the role of chairman.
