Just the basics: Age - 39; Hometown - Manchester; Education - Birmingham Polytechnic, Theatre Design; Slade School of Art, Masters in Theatre Design; Employ - signed to Knucklehead in '06.
Previous experience: From art school, Green was hired as an art director and production designer, working with a veritable who's who of London's top directors over the next 12 years. "That was my training," he says. He also spent two years researching and filming an art film and book, Nyemka's Dream, about a Mongolian wolf hunter-cum-ice speedway rider.
Best Work: A stunningly realized debut for Audi for BBH saw Green turn the most tenuous of scripts ("a flash of silver turns into a car floating in space") into a dark, beautifully filmic :90 that belies his lack of commercial experience. Add two visual stunners for The Discovery Channel and AOL's "Good vs. Bad". Watch out for his forthcoming work for adidas for the Rugby World Cup.
Extracurricular: He's into his yoga and filmic spots, but he's not to be messed with: "I've been boxing all my life. I love it. In the ring, you have no time to think because you're fighting. It's the perfect escape."
