Deutsch New York president/CCO Kathy Delaney and partner-director of account planning Jeffrey Wolf left the agency to pursue other interests.

Toronto's DraftFCB Canada appointed former president of FCB Canada Paul Mead as president. Mead named former FCB Toronto president John Boniface as COO and former FCB Toronto ECD Robin Heisey as CCO. Draft Toronto president Peter Coish left the agency.

Toronto's doug agency hired former Unilever marketer and business consultant Mike Welling as president.

Lowe Roche Advertising in Toronto named Scot Keith as VP, general manager.

Creative team Steve Casey and Randy Tatum joined Minneapolis' Martin|Williams Advertising as VPs/group CDs.

LA's Tribal DDB hired former Nestlé brand manager Geoffrey Gougion as managing director.

Wieden + Kennedy has made a number of hires. Joakim Borgstrom joins the Amsterdam office as interactive creative director. Portland appointed Renny Gleeson as global director of digital strategies and New York promoted associate creative directing team, Derek Barnes and Paul Renner, to co-CDs on the ESPN account.

Atlanta's WestWayne hired John Rich, formerly of Dallas-based TM Advertising, as EVP/interactive communications.

he Association of Independent Commercial Producers tapped Biscuit Filmworks founder and EP Shawn Lacy Tessaro as chairperson for the 16th Annual AICP Show, The Art & Technique of the American Commercial, which takes place in New York in June.

Bartle Bogle Hegarty opened its first shop for the Chinese market after becoming one of the first ad agencies to be granted a license to operate independently in the country. The global firm's new office is located in Shanghai; the client roster includes Johnnie Walker, Mentos and Baileys.

Cannes International Advertising Festival organizers have added two new categories: the Integrated Campaigns Lions and Integrated Grand Prix will honor advertising that spans three or more media, while the Titanium Lions and Titanium Grand Prix will reward only breakthrough ideas.

Toronto's NewNewFilms inked a deal with London's Pink Films to represent directors Karen Cunningham, Steve Bendelack and Michael Geoghegan in the Canadian commercial market.

New York's R/GA opened a full-service office in London to be the agency's hub for Europe.

LA's Sandwick Films inked a deal with Johannesburg-based Velocity Films to represent the company's roster and affiliate Freshwater Films in the US.

British visual effects house The Mill will open a new office in Santa Monica in January. The LA office will recruit local talent as well as creatives from the London and New York offices.

The One Club, a New York-based professional association, promoted three executives. Executive director Mary Warlick becomes CEO; marketing and interactive director Kevin Swanepoel is now president and board president David Baldwin becomes board chair.

Toronto's Wilfrid Park partnered with Independent Media Inc. to represent the LA-based prodco's feature film directors in Canada.

Toronto-based agency Zig moved into the American market through a partnership with Chicago's Hadrian's Wall. Hadrian's Wall principals Kevin Lynch and Steve Carli will keep an ownership stake in the firm, which was renamed Zig.
