Honda's "Grrr" is well on its way to paving a diesel-loving freeway to Cannes with recent wins at both the Andys and One Show, where it received the GRANDY and Best in Show, respectively.
The quirky, animated spot that bears the message "hate something, change something" was created by Wieden + Kennedy, London and was directed by Smith & Foulkes out of London's Nexus Productions.
At the One Show, which took place on May 11 in New York, Canadian agencies stormed the stage with multiple awards going to Rethink, TAXI, and DDB Canada. Arnold Worldwide, TBWA, 180 and Crispin Porter + Bogusky also enjoyed multiple wins.
For CP+B though, the real heyday was on April 28 where its interactive efforts reaped much hardware. The Miami agency collected the Yahoo! Big Idea Chair Award for "Subservient Chicken", plus awards for "Dr. Angus Intervention" and "Best Damn Sports Show", all for Burger King. Full results available online.
