+ Composer/producer Brian Aumueller and music producer Chris Gargani launched spot music house Blue Room Music. Located in New York's Flatiron district, Blue Room provides agency creatives with electronica to acoustic and traditional to abstract. Aumueller and Gargani hired architect Richard Oliver, known for his design of Electric Lady's studios. Oliver is now putting the finishing touches on Blue Room's 2,500-square-foot studio.
+ Toronto's Avion Films launched commercial prodco Fever Films North America, which takes over where Avion affiliate Generator Films left off. Generator is no longer involved in spot production. Fever Films will be run by exec producer/producers Danielle Schwartz and Jon Banack.
+ Executive producer Tracy Hauser and director Jim Manera, backed by Michael Romersa of the Stoney Road group of production companies, are launching commercial prodco blindfaith, Santa Monica. The initial roster includes Darren Gilford, who crossed over into directing spots from commercial production design.
+ Toronto ad agency Roche Macaulay & Partners announced a strengthened alliance with London-based Lowe & Partners Worldwide. As part of a rebranding initiative complete with logo redesign, RM&P founder Geoffrey Roche and president Brett Marchand unveiled the new corporate identity as Lowe Roche.
+ License Film Music formed a partnership with full service A&R company Right Time Productions, which features indie record company Lo Down Music and a sound stage prodco. License Film incorporated Right Time's artist catalog into its roster, while providing Right Time with a resource for promoting their artists and music. Both companies are based in Arizona.
