This promo for the blissed-out house of Space Lover uses locked off shots of different beautiful ladies running towards the viewer, peeling away layer after layer of clothing, until they are seen disappearing, bare-assed into a placid pool.
Artfully avoiding the all-too-common promo snare of T&A, director Jan Gleie of London's Battlecruiser describes the video best with his treatment.
"It seems to me that the music almost dictates high-speed running shots. The track has a great beat that pushes the music on and at the same time some dreamy flowing elements that create a more fluid feeling," wrote Gleie. "To avoid the obvious standards of a traditional dance video, the basic elements of a promo like editing, the use of slow motion, casting and location suddenly become crucial in making this different and exciting."
Matt Fone produced and Mats Ardstrom was DP. Gleie directs spots through Harry Nash in the UK and B&W Films in Scandinavia.
