Jonathan Block-Verk is returning to his Canadian roots to spearhead oot n'aboot, a repping initiative designed to bring Canadian talent to US spot producers. The new venture will see Block-Verk repping Toronto post, audio, animation and new media companies to US agencies and production companies looking to avail themselves of high-level talent at the reduced costs associated with working in Canada (the Canadian dollar trades at about .64 per greenback). Oot n'aboot will represent Chuck Gammage Animation, Guru, audio company Pirate Radio & TV, Trapeze Media, and Flashcut Editing.
"My intention is to rep the best in Canada," says Block-Verk. "With this I'm able to package a group of the most talented people in Canada."
Block-Verk was previously working at the interactive TV arm of Cylo and had formerly been with Toronto's Extend Media.
