BBDO New York created the "Miracle Of New York" campaign starring celebrities; the national campaign salutes the city and encourages Americans to visit New York. Spots with Woody Allen figure skating at Rockefeller Center and Henry Kissinger running the bases at Yankee Stadium depict the fulfilment of lifelong dreams; other more absurd spots include one featuring Robert DeNiro as a pilgrim and Billy Crystal as a turkey, arguing over their roles in the annual Macy's Parade. Other making appearances are Barbara Walters, Yogi Berra, Ben Stiller and Kevin Bacon. Mayor Rudolph Guliani also appears in each spot.
Headquarters' director Joe Public worked on a previous ad, hungry man director Bryan Buckley directed Walters, Joe Pytka directed Allen, Kissinger, Stiller & Bacon and the Berra spots, Santiago Suerez directed the Mayor and Barry Levinson directed DeNiro and Crystal.
Editing was done by Crew Cuts and MacKenzie Cutler, while special effects and graphics were done by Quiet Man. On the post/audio/music tip BUZZ, DHMA, Fluid Post, Lower East Side Audio, Nice Shoes, RIOT Manhatten, Rocket Music, SOund Lounge, SMA Real Time and Superdupe also contributed.
