ATTIK, San Francisco has named Dana Zipser business development manager. Zipser was previously marketing director at the Sterling Group, San Francisco. ATTIK has also named Eric Smith a design director. Smith was an art director at Imaginary Forces, LA. Finally, Emily Twomey has been named business development manager in its NYC studio. Twomey comes to ATTIK from Razorfish Subnetwork, New York where she was director of sales.
Chinagraph, New York has promoted John Gramaglia to editor and added freelancer John Mallerman as senior editor.
class-key chew-po commercials, LA has signed 2D/3D animation director Frank Molieri.
Crushing Music, New York has hired composer Mario Grigorov, formerly of Amber Music in New York.
FrameStore Group has named John Spearman its chairman. Spearman was formerly chair and CEO of Collet Dickenson Pearce.
JSM, New York has rehired Jim Nicholson, a staff composer/sound designer with the company from 1990-1997. Nicholson spent the last three years at Russo/Grantham Productions, New York. JSM has also signed producer/writer/guitarist JK (Joel Kipnis).
PDI/DreamWorks has made Michael Garner and Laura Lockwood producers in the commercials division.
Razorhead Music, New York has been opened by Carlo Nicolau, formerly co-owner and senior composer at New York's Big Rumble Music.
Relish, Toronto has hired Steve Manz as an editor/partner.
Uppercut Editorial, Minneapolis has added editor Charley Schwartz, previously of Fischer Edit, Minneapolis.
WAX Music & Sound Design, New York has hired Julia Frodahl as director of marketing and sales.

FCB New York has hired David Cohen as senior VP/exec producer/creative director of worldwide brands. Cohen was previously senior partner/exec producer at Ogilvy & Mather, New York.
GSD&M, Austin, TX has promoted Jan Wieringa to senior VP/head of broadcast production & idea studio.
HHCL, London creatives Chas Bayfield and Jim Bolton have left the agency to form Arkwright, a creative consultancy.
Katsin/Loeb has appointed co-creative director Carlton Taylor to take on the creative duties resulting from the departure of Jef Loeb, co-founder of the agency.
Leo Burnett, London has hired creatives Greg Martin and Mike McKenna, most recently with Saatchi & Saatchi.
M&C Saatchi has hired copywriter Jerry Gallaher and art director Clive Yaxley. The creative team was formerly with Bates UK.
Matthews/Mark, San Diego, CA has hired Dana Neibert as senior art director. Neibert was formerly with DGWB Advertising. John Risser has been promoted to senior copywriter.
McCann-Erickson, Troy, MI has hired Amy Faulkner as VP/broadcast production director. Faulkner comes to McCann from Doner, Southfield, MI., where she was a senior VP/exec producer.
McCarthy Mambro Bertino, Boston has been opened by Joe McCarthy, Jamie Mambro and Fred Bertino. Bertino and Mambro (formerly of Square One,Boston) are creative directors and McCarthy (formerly of Hill|Holliday, Boston) is CEO.
TBWA/Chiat/Day/Los Angeles has appointed Rob Schwartz as exec creative director. Schwartz, the former creative director at Team One replaces Gary Topolewski, who is joining Donor, Southfield, MN as exec creative director.
